Pigmented Plants

Plant preservation increases extraction rate

Pigmented plants are often used as raw materials for food coloring, such as Mexican marigold, tomatoes, or chilies. However, they are prone to rotting due to their production season or high moisture content, and require methods that comply with food safety standards for preservation. Selection of lactic acid strains that have good fermentation capacity in flowers can not only increase the extractable concentration of pigments, but can also maintain maximum freshness and nutritional status after harvest.

We will provide different silage strains according to the processing characteristics of various plants, which can effectively increase pigment extraction rate by 20%.
