Ruminant
Using good bacteria for silage
Ruminants require large amount of forage to maintain normal gastrointestinal physiology, and silage is often used to solve the problem of storing fresh grass. However, the fodder quality, fermentation process, and production process will determine silage quality. Poor-quality silage that is affected by the production of heat after opening, mildew, or insufficient acidity, etc., will result in a loss of nutrients and cause cattle immunity and feed intake to decrease. The selection of appropriate probiotics according to the characteristics of different fodder can improve silage quality, resulting in more stable fermentation, decreased losses, and more convenient silage management.
We provide different silage strains, according to the characteristics of the grasses, to assist farms in making the best-quality silage and decrease secondary fermentation and rapid acid production in silage.
